Family Literacy Week: Jan 23-27

Afternoon to REadLAX: Parents are welcome in the school on Tuesday, January 24rd from 1:30-2:00 to read with their child in their classroom. If a parent is not available to come in, students will read with their buddy from another class. Please let your classroom teacher know if a parent will be coming in to read.

Mystery Readers: We are inviting parents and/or family members to be mystery readers and read a story to your child’s class via Zoom. Please contact your classroom teacher if you’d like to be a mystery reader.

Favourite Book Poster or Shoe Box: Last year we received some amazing posters of student’s favourite books. We’d like to decorate our hallways once again this year with a poster or a shoe box inspired by your family’s favourite book. Please have posters/shoe boxes in by January 27th or sooner.

Family Literacy Photos: Families are invited to send in a photo of a literacy activity they enjoy doing together. Please send the photos to Mme Desnica.
