Register for École St-Sacrement

NEW Student Registration

We are accepting registrations for all grades, kindergarten – grade 7.

CHECKLIST:

  • Completed New Student Registration 2025-2026
  • Attach all supporting documentation
  • $55 registration fee (payable by cash or cheque, or through a one-time PAD)

METHODS OF PAYMENT: 

      • PAD (this option requires you to provide us with your banking information or VOID cheque loacted in your online banking app). By providing a void cheque for the $55 registration fee, you confirm your approval for a one-time withdrawal of this fee on the 20th of the given month.)
      • Cash
      • Cheque

DUE UPON ACCEPTANCE TO ESS:

  • New Family Fee: a one-time $275 New Family Fee (NFF) is required for all new families joining ESS. 
  • Kindergarten pre-paid tuition deposit: to guarantee your child’s spot in kindergarten we require a deposit of two month’s tuition. This deposit will be applied toward September and June tuition.
  • New and returning students pre-paid tuition deposit: a deposit equal to one months’ tuition is required to secure a spot in the next grade. This deposit will be debited on May 30, 2025 and will be applied to the June 2026 tuition. Your registration will not be processed without the tuition deposit. The deposit is non-refundable..

Note: all pre-paid tuition despoits and the New Family Fee (NFF) are non-refundable.

 RETURNING Students: Re-registration 2025-2026

CHECKLIST:

  • Download and complete one registration per family
  • Attach a current proof of address (ie: utility or phone bill)
  • Medical Alerts: If your child has an allergy that requires an epipen or asthma that needs medication, please complete a new Medical Alerts Form (located at the bottom of this page).
  • Completed and signed Registrations must be emailed to registrations@ess.vancouver.bc.ca. Incomplete or unsigned registrations will not be accepted. April 23, 2025. Late submissions will incur an additional $50 late fee. Deadline – April 23, 2025.

NEW REQUIREMENTS:

  • $55 registration fee: paid by cash or cheque, or through a one-time PAD (EFT on April 25, 2025)
  • Pre-paid Tuition Deposit: A deposit equal to one months’ tuition is required to secure a spot in the next grade. This pre-paid tuition deposit will be debited on May 30, 2025, and will be applied to the June 2026 tuition. This deposit is non-refundable. 
  • All outstanding fees must be paid in full before registration for the 2025-2026 school year. We will not process registration without complete repayment.

IMPORTANT – Student Information and Emergency Contacts:

Any changes to student information (address, emergency contacts, etc) or to banking information should be emailed directly the office, and not included in the registration package. Please email admin@ess.vancouver.bc.ca

To view your child’s current information in our system, please download the Student Verification Form from MyEducation BC (the same platform where you access your child’s learning updates).

    1. Log in to your Parent Portal on MyEducation BC.
    2. Download your Student Information Verification Form
    3. Review the details carefully to ensure all information is correct and current.
    4. If updates are required, please send an email to admin@ess.vancouver.bc.ca with the necessary changes.

It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure their contact details remain up to date, particularly emergency contact information. Keeping this information current helps us maintain effective communication and ensures the safety and well-being of all students.

BEFORE SCHOOL / AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

The Before School / After School Club (ASC) runs from September to June.

IMPORTANT: Families must re-apply ASC each school year (registrations do not roll over to next school year).

Active Parishioners at any other Catholic parish in Metro Vancouver

Non-practising Catholics/Non-Catholics

      • This fee reflects the support Catholic families give to our parish, and to other parishes (ex: envelope use, Project Advance etc.)
      • Permanent Resident or lawfully admitted into Canada (valid work visa for 1or more years + employed for minimum 20h/week)

        • International students are accepted on an annual basis
        • School reserves the right to charge for additional learning support
        • If an international student is not living with parent(s), a guardian over 25 years of age must be appointed

OTHER SCHOOL FEES

Registration Fee: $55 / per student, non-refundable.
Registrations submitted after April 23, 2025 will incur an additional $50 penalty fee.  NOTE:  Applications will only be considered once payment is received by the school.

New Family Fee:  $275 one-time, non-refundable, due upon acceptance to ESS.

Activity Fee:  $335

  • Class fee: all field trips, special project materials etc.$85.00
  • Resource fee: workbooks, textbooks, agendas, etc.$100.00
  • Technology Fee: current technology/purchase new $65
  • Athletic Fee $70.00
  • Emergency Fee $15.00

Kindergarten Pre-paid Tuition Deposit:  For new families (without children currently enrolled at ESS), a deposit equivalent to two months’ tuition is required upon acceptance to guarantee a spot in kindergarten. This deposit will be applied toward the September 2025 and June 2026 tuition. A one-time New Family Fee (NFF) is also required for all new families joining ESS. The tuition deposit and NFF are non-refundable.

Returning Students Pre-paid Tuition Deposit:  A pre-paid tuition deposit equal to one month’s tuition is required to secure a spot in the next grade. This deposit is due on May 30th, 2025 and will be applied to the June 2026 tuition.

 

PAYMENT TERMS:

A family can choose one of the following tuition payment plans:

EFT: Monthly automatic withdrawals (must provide banking information or void cheque)

Lump-Sum: One advance payment dated September 1st (must be submitted to the office by the first day of school.

TUITION COMMITMENT:

It is important to note that school tuition is an annual commitment from September 1st to June 30th, and is non-refundable after July 1st, 2025. This is because (1) the school’s government funding is provided for on a per-student basis, meaning early withdrawal affects the school’s overall funding envelope; and (2) it is very difficult to replace a student once spaces have been committed to. Tuition payments may only be cancelled if the student transfers out of school due to a move out of province.


NON-SUFFICIENT  FUNDS (N.S.F.):

If an EFT is returned to the school by the bank, an additional charge of $45 will be levied to the family.


FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:

If your family is experiencing financial hardship, you should contact the principal and pastor to discuss financial assistance in helping you meet your tuition payments. You must fill out and submit additional Financial Assistance forms. The pastor, on an individual case basis, will determine the assistance to the family in need. For Blessed Sacrament Parish, the Principal along with the P.E.C. will determine the assistance to family in need.

MEDICAL ALERTS: 

ANAPHYLAXIS AND ASTHMA

If your child experiences anaphylactic reactions that require an epi-pen or has asthma that needs an inhaler, please complete the appropriate forms and submit them to the office along with registration. 

  • Bring new medication (epi-pen or asthma inhaler) to the school in September
  • Current medication will be returned at the end of the school year
