Register for École St-Sacrement

RE-REGISTRATIONS 2024-2025

We are now accepting Re-registrations for next school 2024/25. Download the fillable Re-registration Package and email it back to registrations@ess.vancouver.bc.ca

DEADLINE – MAY 3, 2024
Note: Re-registrations submitted after the deadline will incur a $50 late fee.

Re-registration requirements:

    1. Check and update your child’s information on file by checking the Student Verification Form in MyEd (log into MyEd). Email any changes to registrations@ess.vancouver.bc.ca (along with your Re-registration package)
    2. Complete the Re-registration Package  (one per family)
    3. Include a proof of your current address  (ex: utility or phone bill)
    4. $50 registration fee: payable by EFT  (part of PAD agreement in the re-registration Package). This fee is non-refundable.

MEDICAL ALERTS: ANAPHYLAXIS & ASTHMA

Please update your child’s medical information in our files! 

If your child carries an epi-pen (anaphylaxis) or an asthma inhaler (asthma), please submit updated forms to the office, along with the Re-registration Package.

  • Bring new medication (epi-pen or asthma inhaler) to the school in September

  • Current medication will be returned at the end of the school year

 NEW STUDENT ADMISSIONS (KINDERGARTEN – 7)

We are now accepting Kindergarten Registrations for new students and siblings entering Kindergarten in September 2024. Please email ALL registrations to registrations@ess.vancouver.bc.ca.

Requirements:

  • $50 registration fee: payable by EFT (include a photo of your void cheque or banking information), cash or cheque at our office. Please email the registration to registrations@ess.vancouver.bc.ca. If you would like to drop off a printed copy, please do so during school office hours. The office is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please be mindful of Pro-D days and statutory holidays.
  • Deposit & New Family Fee: a deposit of one month’s tuition is required upon acceptance to guarantee a spot in kindergarten. This deposit will be cover the September 2024 tuition. A one-time New Family Fee (NFF) is also required for all new families joining ESS. The deposit and NFF are non-refundable.

BEFORE SCHOOL / AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

The Before School / After School Club (ASC) runs from September to June. Families must re-apply each school year. *B/ASC fees are subject to change each academic year

      • This fee reflects the support Catholic families give to our parish, and to other parishes (ex: envelope use, Project Advance etc.)

        • International students are accepted on an annual basis
        • School reserves the right to charge for additional learning support

OTHER SCHOOL FEES

Application / Re-registration Fee  $50 / per student, non-refundable
NOTE: applications will only be considered once payment is received by the school
RE-REGISTRATIONS: Re-registrations submitted after March 1 will incur a $50 penalty fee

New Family Fee  $250 one-time, non-refundable

Activity Fee  $310

  • Class fee: all field trips, special project materials etc.$80.00
  • Resource fee: workbooks, textbooks, agendas, etc.$100.00
  • Technology Fee: current technology/purchase new $60
  • Athletic Fee $55.00
  • Emergency Fee $15.00

Kindergarten Deposit  Two-month’s worth of tuition (please refer to your tuition category for the amount). This deposit will be applied to the student’s May and June tuition. This is a non-refundable fee that guarantees your child’s spot in kindergarten.

 

PAYMENT TERMS:

A family can choose one of the following tuition payment plans:

EFT: Monthly automatic withdrawals (must provide banking information or void cheque)

Lump-Sum: One advance payment dated September 1st (must be submitted to the office by the first day of school, September 5th, 2023)

TUITION COMMITMENT:

It is important to note that school tuition is an annual commitment from September 1st to June 15th, and is nonrefundable after September 1st of the given school year. This is because (1) the school’s government funding is provided for on a per-student basis, meaning early withdrawal affects the school’s overall funding envelope; and (2) it is very difficult to replace a student once spaces have been committed to. Tuition payments may only be cancelled if the student transfers out of school due to a move out of province, or pending a letter of approval from the PEC.


NON-SUFFICIENT  FUNDS (N.S.F.):

If an EFT is returned to the school by the bank, an additional charge of $45 will be levied to the family.


FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:

If your family is experiencing financial hardship, you should contact the principal and pastor to discuss financial assistance in helping you meet your tuition payments. You must fill out and submit additional Financial Assistance forms. The pastor, on an individual case basis, will determine the assistance to the family in need. For Blessed Sacrament Parish, the Principal along with the P.E.C. will determine the assistance to family in need.
