I hope you had a great long weekend. Although it may feel like a Monday, today is Tuesday and we are in walkathon week!
At this time, our students transition back into winter school uniforms which keeps them warm in the colder weather. We will give students a grace period as it is walkathon week. Students can also enjoy wearing any ÉSS gear they have as their uniform along with their winter uniform. We still have a few hoodies in the office for sale. You can also order directly on our online store but may take a couple of weeks to . We are looking forward to our Marchton 2021 this Friday and seeing a sea of blue and white students, staff and family members in their ÉSS gear. On October 18th, students are expected to have in their full winter uniform (picture below). Thank you for your cooperation and please let us know if you have any questions.
Our fundraising is going strong. We have crossed over halfway to our goal of $40,000. Thank you for your continued support. Lots of prizes remain for families, students, and classes. The fundraising is open until Oct 26th to count towards these prizes. In case you are wondering, the site says raising funds for our parish because the tax receipt is generated from the parish non profit account. All funds donated through the Canada Helps link goes directly to the school. Next week, we will start collecting the paper pledge forms. Thanks again.
Lastly, there are more positions posted on the Parent Participation portal. Please check regularly.
